This wild horse is the first horse I photographed in Utah in the Onaqui Mountains. I got there at sunrise and though I was surrounded by wild horses it was hard to make them out beyond a darkened blob in the distance. As the sun broke through the clouds I spotted this mare in the distance slowly approaching my direction. I was a very safe 75 feet away from her and I knelt down to get an eye level shot of her, illuminated by the light and the colors of the rising sun.

All of my images are priced as giclee prints. Though a bit more costly, it is well worth the extra cost. The quality of a giclee print is far superior to all other forms of printing. Pronounced zhee’clay, the word comes from the French, meaning to spray, which is exactly what an ink jet printer does. The giclee printing process provides higher image detail than traditional photographic printing. If you prefer a regular photographic print I can offer you a print at a slightly lower cost. However, I believe once you receive a giclee print you will not be satisfied with anything else!
