This shot took several hours of me standing in knee deep water, trying to ignore the ‘imaginary’ underwater critters biting my legs and other creepy, slithering, slimy things swimming up against me. The timing for this shot to happen had to be just right: the setting sun, the hooves striking the water creating splashes, and the horse positioned so that it didnt look like a blob but was an obvious shape of a horse. People say they don’t have the patience to do something like this. But for me, it doesnt really require a great deal of patience. I don’t mind the wait. What better way to slow down life than to be surrounded by wildlife and nature?

All of my images are priced as giclee prints. Though a bit more costly, it is well worth the extra cost. The quality of a giclee print is far superior to all other forms of printing. Pronounced zhee’clay, the word comes from the French, meaning to spray, which is exactly what an ink jet printer does. The giclee printing process provides higher image detail than traditional photographic printing. If you prefer a regular photographic print I can offer you a print at a slightly lower cost. However, I believe once you receive a giclee print you will not be satisfied with anything else!
