It took several attempts on my part and the part of the horses for me to get this shot. I was positioned around a curve in dirt road, crouched behind some rocks. Three times, the horses approached, saw me, turned around and ran. Then they would settle down and resume their trek down the road. Repeat. I had decided I needed to abandon the idea as I was preventing them from getting where they were trying to go. This isnt fair to them no matter how much I want the shot. Then, suddenly, they marched down the road and rounded the bend without so much of a care that I was there! What a sweet gift!

All of my images are priced as giclee prints. Though a bit more costly, it is well worth the extra cost. The quality of a giclee print is far superior to all other forms of printing. Pronounced zhee’clay, the word comes from the French, meaning to spray, which is exactly what an ink jet printer does. The giclee printing process provides higher image detail than traditional photographic printing. If you prefer a regular photographic print I can offer you a print at a slightly lower cost. However, I believe once you receive a giclee print you will not be satisfied with anything else!
