On the day I snapped this image I was witness to several hundred wild horses running toward the watering hole. While that experience was quite thrilling the fun continued as I witnessed these same horses play, splash, and roll in the water! There’s nothing else like water to bring out the playful spirit in each and every living thing! This stallion had just finished rolling in the mud and was running wild, I suppose, to get dry. The dried up mud helps to protect the horse from biting insects, the sun, and the heat.

All of my images are priced as giclee prints. Though a bit more costly, it is well worth the extra cost. The quality of a giclee print is far superior to all other forms of printing. Pronounced zhee’clay, the word comes from the French, meaning to spray, which is exactly what an ink jet printer does. The giclee printing process provides higher image detail than traditional photographic printing. If you prefer a regular photographic print I can offer you a print at a slightly lower cost. However, I believe once you receive a giclee print you will not be satisfied with anything else!
